Funding your post $econdary plan$...

The FAFSA form can be submitted starting October 1.  The state of Michigan's deadline is March 1st.  The FAFSA form is required by our federal government for students to seek out grants, scholarships, and loans.   Visit this site for more information on the FAFSA:   https://studentaid.gov

FINDING SCHOLARSHIPS, HELPING PAY FOR YOUR PLAN AFTER HIGH-SCHOOL, FUNDING YOUR PO$T-$ECONDARY PLAN:
Finding scholarships can be tricky and time-consuming. Although there is not a concrete list of scholarships to give out, here are some resources to help you.
  • College Web Site: Most colleges have a scholarship page on their web site. Start here! Check out the scholarship page for the school that you intend to go and see what specific scholarships that college offers.
  • CVHS Community Scholarship Program: CVHS students can apply for up to 4 scholarships and can be awarded 1. This annual opportunity opens in February.
