Our Mission:
Through the CVHS School Counseling Program, ALL students will be challenged to explore their passions, interests, and talents leading to increased engagement and continued growth.
Our intentions are to help all students develop and enhance their academic, social/personal, and career abilities to become responsible and productive members of society.
Vision: We are committed to maintaining the individual uniqueness of each student and skillfully use strategic, timely, and personalized interventions to maximize educational experiences, enhance the development of the human potential, close achievement gaps among higher and lower performing groups, and support positive life choices.
CVHS 10-12 Goals for 2024-25:
Every 10th grade student will make a smooth transition to the 10/12 building and make academic progress.
Every 11th grade student will develop a post-secondary plan.
Every 12th grade student will implement their post-secondary plan including the FAFSA.
